1Acceptance of Terms

By using our Services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Refund Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our Services.

2Eligibility & Account Registration

• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account or book a ticket on your own behalf.
• You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information (name, mobile number, email) during registration and booking.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

3Ticket Booking & Reservations

• Bus schedules, routes, seat availability, and fares displayed in the app are provided for your convenience and may change without prior notice due to operational requirements.
• A booking is only confirmed once payment has been successfully processed and a confirmation is issued in the app and/or via SMS/email.
• We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or limit any booking at our discretion, including in cases of suspected fraud, pricing errors, or violation of these Terms.
• It is your responsibility to arrive at the boarding point on time and to carry valid identification and your ticket/QR code for verification.

4Pricing & Payments

5Cancellations & Refunds

You may cancel a booking yourself only within a short window after booking, subject to a cancellation service fee; outside that window, the ticket is final and non-refundable, as booking a seat removes it from availability for other passengers. Please review your booking details carefully on the final confirmation screen before paying. Full details, including the cancellation window, fee, and the separate exceptions for operator-cancelled trips or payment errors, are set out in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

6Conduct During Travel

While using services booked through our platform, you agree to follow the bus operator's and driver's reasonable instructions, behave respectfully toward staff and other passengers, and comply with any applicable laws and safety regulations. COSCO Bus acts as a booking and information platform connecting passengers with bus operators and is not itself the transport operator.

7Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, other accounts, or data
• Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access or book tickets in bulk without authorization
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent booking or payment information
• Resell tickets booked through our platform for profit

8Intellectual Property

All content on our Services, including the COSCO Bus name, logo, app design, graphics, and software, is owned by or licensed to COSCO Bus Services and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without prior written consent.

9Limitation of Liability

COSCO Bus Services facilitates bus ticket bookings but is not responsible for delays, cancellations, or the conduct of bus operators and drivers beyond our reasonable control. To the fullest extent permitted by law, COSCO Bus Services, its directors, and employees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services, including missed connections or travel disruptions caused by third-party operators.

10Account Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at our discretion if we believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or misused the platform. You may also stop using the Services at any time and request deletion of your account via our Delete Account page.

11Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sri Lanka, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.

12Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our Services or legal requirements. We will post the revised Terms on this page and update the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
